Is a Portuguese residence card or NIF required before enrolling?If you have a Portuguese residence card and NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal), please provide them during registration. If you do not have a residence card yet, you can still enroll by showing proof that your application to extend your stay or to grant/renew a residence permit has been initiated. You will also need to provide your NIF or proof of your Social Security Identification Number (NISS). What types of classes are available?Classes are available either ONLINE or IN CAMPUS. Unfortunately, we do not offer blended learning for this specific course due to limited availability.

What documents do I need to provide when registering, and how do I upload them?Residence Permit (if available) or valid proof that you have started the process of extending your stay or renewing your permit with SEF/AIMA. NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal) or proof of Social Security Identification Number (NISS). Passport Copy (to verify your identity). You can upload these documents directly on our website during the application process. All data you submit is protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). What ID number to use if they do not yet have a NIF or a residence card?A NIF number is mandatory requirement to enrol in this course.

What should I do if I already have Portuguese knowledge, such as a B2 level certification?We accept students of all proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. If you have completed and been certified in A1 by an authorized training entity, you will only receive certification for the UFCD modules you haven't completed yet. However, to ensure a smooth learning experience, you are required to attend the full course. This helps reinforce your knowledge while earning certification for the A2 level.

Is this course recognized by AIMA/IRN/SEF for Portuguese nationality and residency applications?Yes, the training, evaluation, and certification are conducted by authorized partners delivering this course. Registration is completed on a National Database Platform in compliance with GDPR regulations. This course meets the official 150-hour requirement.

Are there installment plans?Yes, we do offer installment payment plan, i.e. Only two instalments.

What is the cost/fee for the A1+A2 course?Our pricing structure is designed to deliver the highest quality education, support, and resources to our learners in partnership with accredited awarding bodies. The service charges encompass essential costs, including access to a user-friendly online platform, instruction from highly qualified educators, efficient administrative processes, and dedicated student support. As this course is regulated and aligned with government directives, we place significant emphasis on validating students’ eligibility prior to enrolment. To ensure clarity and consistency, official pricing details are provided directly via email. Our charges are budget-friendly and accessible to all. Additionally, we celebrate integration through promotional activities during national festivals, making education even more affordable during these special occasions. Please note that our service charges are subject to change without prior notice. Edpro Association reserves the right to make such adjustments as necessary.

What are the payment options?All service charges are payable in Euros to Edpro Association via bank transfer. We ask that learners provide proof of payment (receipt) for verification. For international payments, learners are responsible for any international transaction fees in addition to our service charges—please check with your bank for specific details. Currently, we do not accept cash, debit/credit cards, cheques, or banker’s drafts. We reserve the right to adjust our service charges at any time and at our own discretion. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to our SERVICE CHARGES POLICY. Note: Service charges are subject to change without notice. Additional factors, such as availability and market conditions, may affect charges. The indicated fees do not include any delivery charges related to enrollment. How do the “intensive” and “less intensive” course options differ?Intensive classes run for 8-9 weeks, meeting 4-5 days per week for 4 hours each day. Less Intensive classes span 12 weeks, meeting 3 days per week for 4 hours each day. Completion times depend on factors like start dates, public holidays, and teacher availability.

When do the next courses begin, and what are the available schedules?We confirm timetables each month. Available schedules are: Morning (9:00-13:00), Afternoon (14:00-18:00), and Evening (18:00-22:00). All schedules are subject to availability.

If my spouse/children need the course, can we enroll together?Yes, you can enrol in same class (Subject to availability) However, EACH APPLICATION must be submitted individually.

Can I attend online if I am currently outside of Portugal?Students must meet the course requirements and comply with government directives to attend. They may use electronic devices during the course, provided their cameras remain on.

What is the timezone for the scheduled classes?Our classes are scheduled in (WET) Lisbon time.
