Do I need a Portuguese residence card or NIF before enrolling?If you already have your Portuguese residence card and NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal), you should provide them during registration. However, if you do not yet have a residence card, you can still enroll by presenting proof that your application to extend your stay, or to grant/renew a residence permit, has been initiated. In that case, you would also need to provide your NIF or proof of your Social Security Identification Number (NISS). What are the types of classes available?Classes are either ONLINE or IN CAMPUS. Unfortunately, we do not offer blended learning for this specific course due to limited availability.

What documents do I need to provide when registering, and how do I upload them?Residence Permit (if available) or valid proof that you have started the process of extending your stay or renewing your permit with SEF/AIMA. NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal) or proof of Social Security Identification Number (NISS). Passport Copy (to verify your identity). You can upload these documents directly on our website during the application process. All data you submit is protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). What ID number to use if they do not yet have a NIF or a residence card?A NIF number is mandatory requirement to enrol in this course.

What if I already have some Portuguese knowledge (e.g., tested at B2 level)?We welcome students of all proficiency levels, from absolute beginners to advanced speakers. If a student has already completed and been certified in A1 by an authorized training entity, they will only receive certification for the UFCD modules they have not yet completed. However, to ensure a smooth learning experience for all, students are required to attend the full course. This allows them to reinforce their knowledge while earning certification for the A2 level.

Is this course recognized by AIMA/IRN/SEF for Portuguese nationality and residency applications?Yes, the training, evaluation, and certification are conducted by authorized partners delivering this course. Registration is completed on a National Database Platform in compliance with GDPR regulations. This course meets the official 150-hour requirement.

Are there installment plans?Yes, we do offer installment payment plan, i.e. Only two instalments.

Additionally, we celebrate integration through promotional activities during national festivals, making education even more affordable during these special occasions. What are the payment options?All service charges are payable in Euros to Edpro Association via bank transfer. We ask that learners provide proof of payment (receipt) for verification. For international payments, learners are responsible for any international transaction fees in addition to our service charges—please check with your bank for specific details. Currently, we do not accept cash, debit/credit cards, cheques, or banker’s drafts. We reserve the right to adjust our service charges at any time and at our own discretion. What is the difference between the “intensive” and “less intensive” course options?Intensive classes 8-9 weeks (4-5 days per week) 4 hours per day Less Intensive classes 12 weeks (3 days per week) 4 hours per day Finishing times depend on various factors, such as start dates, public holidays, and teacher availability.

When do the next courses start, and what are the available timetables?Each month we confirmed timetables (Morning 9:00-13:00) (Afternoon 14:00-18:00) (Evening 18:00-22:00) Subject to availability

If my spouse/children need the course, can we enroll together?Yes, you can enrol in same class (Subject to availability) However, EACH APPLICATION must be submitted individually.

Can I attend online if I am currently outside of Portugal?Students must meet the course requirements and comply with government directives to attend. They may use electronic devices during the course, provided their cameras remain on.

What is the timezone for the scheduled classes?Our classes are scheduled in (WET) Lisbon time.
